Psychology (ancient Greek: psyche "soul" or "mind", logos/-lohiya "learning") is the academic and applied accumulation of knowledge concerned with the study of the mind and the os. The word “Psychology” is still used to refer to the application of this knowledge to various aspects of human work, including the problems of individuals ’daily lives and the treatment of mental illness.
