Computational science (in English: computer science or computing science; in Spanish: ciencias de la computación), is the study of the theoretical principles of information and computation and its implementation and application to computer system. Computational science has many sub-fields; there are those that emphasize the computation of specific results (such as computer graphics), while there are also other fields that deal with similarities to computational problems (such as the theory of computational complexity). There are also areas of this science that are concerned with the implementation of computations. For example, native programming language involves the expression of computations, while in computer programming, specific computer languages are applied to solve specific computational problems. Another deep-seated field, human-computer interaction, involves the fields of making computers and computation more accessible to the masses.
