iGoogle is a service provided by Google, launched in 2005. The service allows users to conveniently customize and integrate information from different sources according to their personal preferences, making it a personalized portal. The realization of this service mainly draws on the ideas of portal and portal blocks: a complete portal page is composed of portal blocks customized by users. Users avoid the trouble of multiple visits by visiting a portal page that aggregates different information sources; personalized customization options provide users with on-demand "one-stop" services.
